About these terms
Effective October 10, 2026. Stilldraw is a free, independently developed personal drawing journal operated by Yosel Del Valle. These terms cover the Stilldraw app, stilldraw.com and the journal services provided through them. “We” means Stilldraw’s operator, and “you” means the person using the service. Please read these terms before creating an account or using the journal. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or continue using the journal; you can contact us for help exporting or deleting existing data.
A tool for your practice
Stilldraw helps you keep your drawings, write reflections and record progress in optional invitation-only challenges. It is a journal, not a drawing course, a professional qualification or a promise of a particular learning outcome. Stilldraw is free to use. There are currently no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Advertising may help fund the service in the future, subject to the privacy commitments below. Your device, internet connection and any separate courses or third-party services may have their own costs.
Your account
Use an email address or sign-in account you control, keep your login codes private, and do not impersonate someone else or access another person’s account. Tell us through the contact form if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. If you need a parent or guardian’s permission, involve them before creating an account and use the service only where local law permits. Stilldraw is a general-audience journal and is not specifically directed at children.
Your drawings remain yours
You keep whatever intellectual property rights you hold in your drawings, photos and notes. Uploading them does not transfer ownership to Stilldraw. You give us only the limited, nonexclusive permission needed to store, copy, transmit and display your content to you, sync it across your devices, and carry out exports or sharing you request. Our service providers may process it only as needed to operate those features. This permission lasts only as needed to provide the service and complete deletion and retention processes described in the privacy policy. It does not permit us to advertise with your work, sell it or use it to train AI models.
Privacy and our commitments
We never sell or rent your drawings, photos, notes or personal data, use them to train AI models, or sell or license them to AI companies. We do not supply them to ad networks to deliver, target or measure ads, or to marketing platforms to build audiences. The maker may use AI to develop Stilldraw, but private user content and personal data are not input to those tools. The app and web journal currently contain no ads or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. These commitments remain if the product or its funding changes. Public website pages use limited, cookieless Vercel traffic reports, separate from your account and journal. Essential account, hosting, email, storage and security processing still takes place. Our privacy policy at stilldraw.com/privacy explains this processing, our providers, retention and your choices. These terms do not expand the uses of your data described there.
Private practice and sharing
Your journal stays private within Stilldraw as the product grows: it is not a public profile or social feed. Joining a challenge does not publish your work or give its creator access to it. Authorized administration may require access for support, maintenance, security or legal obligations, as explained in the privacy policy; the journal is not end-to-end encrypted. When you choose to export or share a drawing, you decide what to send. The receiving service’s terms apply, and copies already shared cannot be recalled by Stilldraw.
Respect other people’s work
Only upload or share material you own or are otherwise allowed to use. Private storage and invitation-only access do not replace permission from a copyright owner or a lawful basis for using their work. Do not use Stilldraw to distribute paid lessons, course files, other people’s artwork or personal information without permission or another legal right. If you believe material in Stilldraw infringes your rights, use the contact form to identify the material, describe your rights and tell us how to reach you. We will investigate and may restrict access while addressing the report.
Challenges and external resources
Challenges are optional companions to your own practice. An invitation does not give you access to a paid course or a license to a creator’s materials. Obtain any required course access or permissions from the creator, and follow their terms. Stilldraw is independent of the creators of the programmes people follow and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Their names, materials and trademarks belong to their respective owners. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices, and their content or availability may change.
Use the service responsibly
Do not use Stilldraw for illegal activity, harassment, spam or infringement of others’ rights. Do not upload malicious files, attempt to access another person’s private data, bypass account or invitation controls, or deliberately disrupt the service. Use the contact form for genuine questions, feedback and rights requests. We may apply reasonable storage, upload or submission limits to keep this free service working and protect people from abuse.
Saving, exports and availability
Cloud saves require an internet connection. Unsaved drafts may remain only on the device where you created them. Keep original artwork and export copies of work that matters to you; backup import is not currently available. We aim to keep Stilldraw useful and available, but outages, bugs and changes can occur, particularly in test versions. We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device or permanent availability of every feature. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a planned shutdown or material reduction in service and an opportunity to export saved work.
Leaving or restricting an account
You can stop using Stilldraw at any time. Settings → Export journal & drawings lets you keep a copy of saved work, and Settings → Delete account removes your account and cloud work from active storage. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account. Backups, operational logs and previously shared or downloaded copies are handled as explained in the privacy policy. We may restrict an account when reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where lawful and safe, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us to review the decision and recover your own work. Urgent protection may require action before notice.
Responsibility and your legal rights
Stilldraw is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not give additional warranties that the service will be error-free or fit every particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that the law gives you, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud or deliberate misconduct. These terms do not require you to waive consumer or privacy rights, agree to mandatory arbitration, or give up access to courts or regulators available under applicable law.
App Store use
For copies obtained through Apple’s App Store, the applicable Apple terms and the software license agreement also apply. Where no custom license agreement is provided, Apple’s standard end-user license agreement governs the software license. These service terms do not replace that agreement or override mandatory legal rights.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. We will update the effective date and give appropriate advance notice of material changes through the app or email where reasonably possible. Where the law requires agreement to a change, we will ask for it. Changes do not apply retroactively to disputes that arose before they took effect. For questions, support or rights requests, contact Yosel Del Valle through the form at stilldraw.com/#contact.
