The first drawing is a beginning. The next one is a reason to come back.
That’s what I hoped Stilldraw could help with when I started building it: having somewhere to keep the practice, even when it doesn’t feel like progress yet. So I’m happy to share that you can now track Inktober 2026 in Stilldraw, with permission from the Inktober team.
Bring your sketchbook, your favourite drawing app, or whatever you’re making your marks with. Stilldraw gives those drawings a place to live together.
A month of drawing. Your own record.
Join the challenge and you’ll have a journey through October’s 31 days alongside your personal journal. Add a photo or an image to a day, write a few words if you want to, and mark it complete. Over the month, you’ll build a record of what you tried and what you noticed.
The awkward drawing belongs there, too. So does the one you nearly didn’t finish. You don’t need a polished portfolio to see that you’re learning.
One prompt at a time.
In the latest iPhone and iPad app and on the web, each day’s prompt appears at 7 a.m. in your local timezone. Upcoming days keep their date and a question mark, so you can focus on the page in front of you. Earlier prompts remain available if you want to return to them.
Update Stilldraw from the App Store to see daily prompts and the locked-day view on iPhone and iPad. Sign in to the same account to keep your challenge and saved drawings together across devices.
In the app, you can enable a notification when a new daily prompt is ready, a drawing reminder at 5 p.m. in your local timezone, or both. The daily-notifications invitation enables both; you can change each choice separately in Settings. The prompt is available at its reveal time whether or not notifications are enabled.
This daily reveal is how Stilldraw presents the challenge. You can find Inktober’s own rules and prompt list on the official Inktober website.
Your practice stays yours.
Joining the challenge doesn’t publish your drawings or share them with other participants or the Inktober team. There’s no public feed to keep up with. You choose what to share outside your journal.
Stilldraw is free, with no ads or subscriptions today. Your drawings, words and personal data are never sold, used to train AI models or supplied to ad networks. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Our privacy policy explains the account and storage services that keep your journal working.
Make room for your first page.
- Open the challenge invitation. Use the link on this page. If you’re already using Stilldraw, sign in to the account where you keep your journal.
- New here? Create your account. You can join in the browser, or install Stilldraw from the App Store and reopen the invitation.
- Keep your first drawing. Add it to the day, leave a note if you’d like, and make another page when you’re ready.
Use the same account on the web and your phone to keep your challenge and saved work together.
A little more practice, one page at a time.
